Methodology
- We used Google search data to look at the average monthly searches throughout 2023. These searches every month were added for each name variation of the pizza type. E.g. ‘Hawaiian Pizza’
- When got the total amount of searches of ham and pineapple pizza for each county last year, we divided this by the amount of reach (population) in each area to get the percentage of people in that area searched key ham and pineapple pizza terms. Once the percentages were worked out, this is when we ranked the counties.
