We take pride in producing high-quality, long-lasting picnic tables. Every picnic table manufactured and supplied by MG Timber Products LTD is covered by this 10-Year Workmanship Guarantee, starting from the date of purchase.
What’s Covered
This guarantee covers faults caused by defective workmanship, including:
- Structural failure due to poor construction
- Loose or failing joints caused by incorrect assembly
- Fixings failing due to improper installation
If a workmanship defect is confirmed within 10 years, we will repair, replace, or supply replacement parts at our discretion.
What’s Not Covered
This guarantee does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Natural weathering or fading
- Natural timber movement (including cracking, splitting, or warping)
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, vandalism, or accidents
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, modification, or relocation
- Lack of reasonable maintenance
- Extreme weather events or acts of nature
Timber is a natural product. Variations in colour, grain, and minor movement are normal and not considered defects.
Care & Maintenance
To keep this guarantee valid, the picnic table must be used as intended and reasonably maintained. Any protective treatments or finishes recommended at the time of sale should be applied and maintained as advised.
Making a Claim
To make a claim:
- Provide proof of purchase
- Supply clear photographs and a brief description of the issue
- Allow us the opportunity to inspect the product before repairs are carried out
This guarantee applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable unless agreed in writing.
Your Legal Rights
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not affect them.
