The Osmo End Grain Sealing Wax is the ideal product to use to preserve the beauty and condition of your wooden garden furniture, including chairs, benches, and tables. The sealing wax protects the end grain of the wood from crack formation during the full range of weather conditions outdoor furniture experiences is the UK.

Once applied, the end grain sealing wax creates a surface that is dirt and water-resistant. The natural oils and waxes in this product minimise the seasoning of the end grain and stop water absorption. Furthermore, the sealing wax reduces shrinking, swelling, and bleeding of the contents and ingredients of the wood.

How to apply

The 0.375 litre tin of Osmo End Grain Sealing Wax provides a coverage rate of approximately 5m2 per litre. You should apply two coats of wax using a flat brush, wet on wet, or after 12 hours of drying. You should only apply the sealing wax on the end grain, but you can remove any over-spill on other surfaces easily, using a cloth. Once dry, the sealing wax is safe for you and your animals, making it ideal for use in your garden or home.

MG Timber recommends that you maintain your wooden garden furniture by applying protecting coats once or twice a year. The Swedish redwood we use in our chairs and tables will last a lifetime with only a small amount of maintenance.
